Tips To Get Taller

Here is a little story about Altitude Shoes.

April 30th, 2010

Altitude Shoes was born when I wanted more height and realised what it took to do just that. Being insecure about my height had proven to be a long-term drawback in my endeavours so I set out to get this area of my life handled.

I wanted to be taller. I tried insoles, but they weren’t always fitted well with the shoes that I liked or found fashionable. I wanted high quality, height shoes that not only looked good and fit comfortably, but discreetly added inches to my height as well.

After doing some research and discovering the industry of height shoes and elevator shoes, I started wearing height shoes and noticed a difference in the way people interacted with me, particularly people I felt intimidated by prior to having this newfound height and confidence. Unfortunately, however, I was also a victim of poor quality products that tore apart… and of poor style. I felt uncomfortable and some shoes even had the height increasing mechanism advertised so obviously exposed that people could tell I was wearing elevator shoes.

Instead of risking more disappointment and wasting more money, I took the time and effort to design my own catalogue of height increasing shoes, with careful detail paid to aesthetic appeal, comfort and using quality material such as leather. This eventually grew to become ‘Altitude Shoes’. Since our launch, Altitude Shoes has continued to evolve in style and structure of its shoes. We invest a LOT into production and a little into marketing, so that our customers get the best results.

Today, Altitude Shoes is the best and most reliable manufacturer of high quality height- increasing footwear for men and is continually growing on a daily basis with an ever- increasing client base. This comes to no surprise to us as we strive to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, and we believe it is this attitude that places us at the forefront of the footwear industry.

Some tips for looking taller today

There are several things you can do to appear taller, so let’s start from the bottom. Increasing height starts from the ground up, so if you can add a few inches below the feet, there’s less work to do above the feet - this means High Quality Height Increasing Footwear.

Ideal posture is a huge component of getting the most out of your natural height. Excessive curvatures due to overuse and chronic stress compress the natural length of the spinal column, and stretching or strengthening the right muscles can achieve a more ideal alignment of your feet, knees, hips, shoulders and neck. Combine the gains made from all of these joints and you will find yourself being an inch taller at least (if you already have near perfect posture, which is unlikely in the world of tech we live in today, then there is obviously not much more room for improvement).

There are other fashion accessories that help with this. These include vertically striped shirts, special shoes, head gear, colour co-ordination (e.g. for pants and belt) and specific hair styles.

If your hair is long enough, this can add inches to your height. Any issue of your local fashion magazine will probably have at least 5 different hairstyles you can find in photographs that have the common element of being short at the sides of the head and long at the top. You can also use certain types of headwear to look taller.

Lastly, when using fashion and style to appear taller, you want vertical lines or stripes that create the illusion of added height. Steer clear of horizontal striped shirts and having your pants too high or too low. These strategies and several more are visual tricks that both men and women use all the time (especially on television) and there is no reason why you shouldn’t use it to your advantage either.
