Impressive historical figures under 5'5"
This entry was posted on April 30, 2014.
There are literally hundreds of famous individuals who have disproved the theory that being short impedes success. Two of those include Beethoven and Picasso.
At 5'4", Ludwig van Beethoven made it to the top as a composer in his time. He was famous for being a pianist of great fantasy and verve, admired in particular for his brilliant improvisations.
Pablo Picasso - or to use his full name Pablo (or Pablito) Diego Jose Santiago Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno Crispin Crispiniano de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santisima Trinidad Ruiz Blasco y Picasso Lopez - was long on name, but short on height at a diminutive 5'4". Picasso was an artist of the early 20th century whose work remains famous today. He was regarded as a boy genius, and he and his art inspired many 20th century movements. The painting shown here is one of his most famous - Les Demoiselles d’Avignon.
